Steven Craig Gunderson
Our beloved Steven Craig Gunderson, 30, of Rock Springs, Wyoming left his earthly body to be with our Heavenly Father on Saturday, July 23, 2016.
He passed away at the Wyoming Medical Center in Casper, Wyoming with his family at his side. He was a lifelong resident of Rock Springs, Wyoming.
He was born in Rock Springs, Wyoming on June 29, 1986, the son of Monte Gunderson and Allyenne Maria Urrutia.
Mr. Gunderson attended school in Rock Springs, Wyoming as well as Worland, Wyoming and was a 2004 graduate of the Worland High School.
He was employed as a workover rig operator for Mountain States Pressure Service in Rock Springs, Wyoming for the past fifteen months. Steven loved his job and working hard.
His interests included hunting, fishing, enjoying the outdoors, spending time at the lake, being with family and friends, teaching his girls to be adventurous, riding motorcycles, restoring his 1979 firebird, playing pool, telling stories with his crew and he was an avid Minnesota Vikings fan. Steven knew to live life to the fullest with his kind soul and big heart. He was known to never turn down family or a friend in their time of need. Steven never left you without a smile.
Survivors include; his fiance` and love of his life Kaycee Hodges, his father Monte Gunderson and his wife Donna of Rock Springs, Wyoming; three daughters, Allyenne Rose Gunderson, Inessa Mae Gunderson, and Skyla Rayne Gunderson all of Rock Springs, Wyoming, two brothers; Joey Gunderson of Rock Springs, Wyoming and Cory Gunderson of Pinedale, Wyoming; one sister, Catherine Gunderson and companion Alex Roque of Green River, Wyoming, several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews, and all of his extended family and friends also survive.
He was preceded in death by his great-grandmother Lucy Urrutia, paternal grandparents, maternal grandparents, his mother Allyenne Urrutia Ebersole, baby brother Brian Friel, Uncle Jack Unger Jr. and Uncle Dennis Case.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 A.M. Monday, August 1, 2016, at the Mountain States Pressure Services, 28 Wilkins Peak Drive, Rock Springs, Wyoming. Interment will be in the Rock Springs Municipal Cemetery. Friends may call one hour before services.
