Gary Lynn Albritton was born on March 15, 1947 in Farmerville, LA and passed away on July 27, 2016.
He graduated from Farmerville High School in 1965 and from ULM, formerly NLU with a BS in Pharmacy in 1970. After graduation he managed Spillard’s Drug in Pine Bluff, AR. In January of 1972 he married Myra Baker Albritton of Bastrop and in October of 1972 he purchased Farmerville Drug Company in Farmerville, which he managed for forty-two years until December of 2014.
He was a member of the Ballard Sunday School class and a deacon at First Baptist Church. Mr. Albritton loved deer and duck hunting and was an avid Nascar and big Earnhart fan.
Mr. Albritton is preceded in death by his parents, Lavelle and Mary Belle Feazel Albritton; brothers, M.L. “Boots” Albritton and George Albritton; sisters, Devonne Vestal and Mariete Nale.
He is survived by his wife of forty-four and a half years, Myra Baker Albritton; brothers, Morris Albritton and wife Dixie of Sterlington, W.L. “Dub” Albritton and wife Joyce of Monroe; sisters, Mae Barden and Laverne White, both of Hot Springs Village, AR; sister-in-law, Mary Ellen Albritton of Crystal Springs, MS and numerous nieces and nephews.
