Died.
"Albert Guidry, a prominent citizen of Carencro, died at his home in that town yesterday at 5;30 a. m., aged 65 years, 7 monts and 21 days, as the result of an attack of appoplexy Wednesday morning. Mr. Guidry was a native of St. Landry, but was engaged in business in Carencro for many years. He was honest and upright and possessed the high esteem of all who knew him. He took an active part in public affairs and in his death the parish loses a good citizen. He was president of the Carencro bank at the time of his death. He is survived by his wife and six children. Messrs. Odon, Aristide, and Saul Guidry, Mrs. J. D. Bacque, Mrs Alex Burleigh and Mrs. Nana Guidry.
The funeral will take place today at St. Peters Catholic church in Carencro at 10 a. m."
