LAFAYETTE - Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 30, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. in Evangeline Memorial Gardens Chapel in Carencro for Elsie Boudreaux, age 88, the former Elsie Marie Clause, who passed away Wednesday, July 27, 2016 at Lafayette General Medical Center in Lafayette.
Interment will be in Evangeline Memorial Gardens in Carencro. The Rev. Gary Schexnayder, pastor of St. Elizabeth Seton Catholic Church in Lafayette, will officiate at the services.
Mrs. Boudreaux was a native and lifelong resident of Carencro. She was a parishioner of St. Peter Catholic Church in Carencro, where she was a member of the St. Anne Society.
Survivors include one son, Byron Boudreaux and wife, Angela, of Carencro; one daughter, Bonnie Miller and husband, Eric, of Georgetown, TX; five grandchildren, Brook Dupont and husband, Anthony, and their children, Evelyn and Reese, Ramon Boudreaux and wife, Jackie, Mindy Boudreaux-Sherlund and husband, Ben, Andrew Miller and wife, Cassandra, and Austen Miller and wife, Maggie; and one brother, Melvin Clause and wife, Gussie, of Lafayette.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Alexander Clause and the former Ida Stelly; her husband, Paul Boudreaux; one brother, Carol Clause; and one sister, Eva Dell Domingue.
A rosary will be prayed at 7:00 p.m. Friday in the funeral home.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Friday and will continue from 8:00 a.m. until service time on Saturday.
