Gordon A. Strickland a lifelong resident of Pensacola, FL passed away on Mon., July 25, 2016 at the age of 58.
He worked in construction for many years as a crane operator. Gordon loved his job and was great at it.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Darlene Strickland.
Gordon is survived by his loving wife of 27 years, Mandy Strickland; six children, Shane (Heather) Strickland, Jerry Outler, Stacey (Shane) Mosley, Zachary Outler, Chelsea Strickland and Crystal (Mike) Saavedra; five grandchildren, Ahnnika Tungol, Ashton Mosley, Charles Strickland, Aiden Outler and Ellie Saavedra; two brothers, Lex Strickland and Mark (Kelly) Strickland; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family members.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Fri., July 29, 2016 at Faith Chapel Funeral Home South with Rev. Alston Cornelius officiating. The burial will follow services in Whitmire Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at 10:00 a.m. prior to services.
