JOSEPH S. ADERHOLD was born, April 5, 1837, in Hepburn township, Lycoming county, Pennsylvania, and is a son of John and Regina (Stolz) Aderhold.
He received a common school education, and was married in 1867 to Louisa Schuch, who was born in Lewis township, this county, in 1841.
There have been born to them six children: George W., July 22,1868; Abraham A., August 9, 1871; Caroline Regina (Married William E Stroble), March 24, 1875; John Peter, September 24, 1877; William H., September 8, 1879, and Joseph Albert, June 11, 1884. In 1869.
Mr. Aderhold purchased the farm where he now resides, now containing about 240 acres, which, with its fine residence and barns, is one of the best in the township.
He is a Democrat and himself and family attend the Lutheran church.
