Virginia Beach, VA - Adrienne "Ann" Agami, 73, passed away on July 23, 2016. She was born to the late Lawrence and Adrienne Goley of Illinois.

She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Abdel; her son, Sam and his wife, Dee; and several nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by her parents and two brothers, Bud and Paul.

Ann graduated from the University of Illinois with a bachelor's degree in biology and bachelor's degree in anthropology. She earned a master's degree in biology and teaching certificate from Old Dominion University. She worked as a lab assistant at Boyce Thompson Institute for Plant Research Inc. in Yonkers, New York and was a science teacher at Princess Anne Middle School in Virginia Beach. She was interested in gardening and served as President of Witchduck Garden Club for two terms.

The family will receive friends at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Bayside Chapel at 1457 Independence Blvd., Virginia Beach, VA 23455 on Saturday, July 30, 2016, from 2 to 4 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 4416 Expressway Drive, Virginia Beach, VA 23452.
