Lee was a member of the Gracewood Baptist Church where he was a member of the Adult Sunday School Class and a former deacon.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Leland Frank Adams and Flossie Marie Hagan Adams and a son, Randy Lee Adams.
Surviving are his wife of 62 years, Miriam Boyett Adams of Statesboro; a daughter and her fiancée, Ann Heath and J.C. Herb of Statesboro; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Ronny Adams of Statesboro and Rodney and Vickie Adams of Portal; four grandchildren, Rhonda Ford and husband John of Statesboro, Brandie Hayes and husband Dillon of Brooklet, Leland Adams of Portal and Randy Lee Adams, II of Statesboro and four great grandchildren, Charlie, MeMe, Ruby and Dixie.
The family will receive visitors on Tuesday from 5:00pm until 8:00pm at Joiner-Anderson Funeral Home in Statesboro. Funeral services will be Wednesday at 11:00am in the chapel of Joiner-Anderson Funeral Home with Rev. Carl Ledbetter officiating.
Interment will be in the Upper Lotts Creek Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be J.C. Herb, John Ford, Leland Adams, Dillon Hayes, Walt Lamb and Edward Hitt.
The family requests that memorial contributions be made to Gracewood Baptist Church, 12376 Hwy 301 South, Statesboro, GA 30458.
