Mrs. Sallie Fite died a few minutes after injuring her leg at the Pettis County Home, aged 55 years. She had lived there since Jan. 20, 1930. She is survived by husband, also living at the home, three sisters, Mrs. Laura Hall, Mrs. John Hall and Mrs. Forrest Shannon, all of Kansas City, and a brother, William Larrimore. - Sedalia Democrat - Wednesday, August 19, 1931 pg.1
