Adrian E. Coonrod, Sr., 57, of Vienna Rd., Blossvale, passed away on Monday, January 9, 2012, at his home. He was born on November 15, 1954, in Rome, the son of Clayton and Mary Piersall Coonrod, Sr. On January 3, 1987, Adrian was united in marriage to Penny Sherwood.
Adrian was employed by Don's Auto Recycling for several years.
He loved to work on cars in his spare time.
Surviving besides his loving wife of twenty-five years, Penny; are five daughters and two sons-in-law, Adrienne Coonrod and her fiancé, Alan Schmelzle, of Forestport; Natasha and Raymond Lambiase, of Blossvale; Tanya Coonrod and her boyfriend, Curtis Williams, of Blossvale; Roxanne and Mike Champion, of West Branch; and Patti Donovan, of Rome; three sons and a daughter-in-law, Charles and Kari Coonrod-Kohli, of Taberg; Adrian E. Coonrod, Jr. and his girlfriend, Holly Yakuboski, of Rome; and Adrian S. Coonrod and his girlfriend, Jen Taylor, of Rome; a sister, Diane Snyder, of Verona; three brothers and two sisters-in-law, Glen Coonrod, of Oneida; Carl and Joanne Coonrod, of Rome; and Clayton and Debbie Coonrod, Jr., of Rome; several grandchildren, including special grandchildren, Taylor, Joshana, and Tanner; several great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Adrian was predeceased by a sister, Dorothy Meyers.
