Louise Heidt, age 82 years of Batesville, IN passed away Saturday, April 1, 2006 at her home in Batesville. Born March 18, 1924 in Decatur County, IN she was the daughter of Charles & Wilna (Johnston) Craig. She married Malcolm Heidt on August 22, 1946 in Greensburg, IN. She was a former hostess at McDonalds in Batesville and member of the Batesville United Methodist Church. Mrs. Heidt is survived by her husband Malcolm Heidt, son Thomas Heidt of Versailles, IN; daughters Janice Bedel of Versailles, IN and Connie Miller of Batesville, IN. She will also be missed by her grandchildren Jon & Mark Heidt, Rick & Steve Bedel and Nancy & Clint Miller and 4 great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers William, Boyd & Carols Craig. Visitation will be Tuesday, April 4, 2006 from 11am-1pm followed by services at 1:00pm all at Meyers Funeral Home in Batesville, IN with Rev. Larry Marhanka officiating. Burial will be in Batesville United Methodist Church Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to Batesville United Methodist Church, Garrett Theological Seminary Scholarship or Safe Passage c/o the funeral home.
