Kathleen Curtis passed away on Sunday, July 17th in San Rafael California due to congestive heart failure. Kathy was born on August 30, 1945 to Nora and Howard Curtis in Pocatello Idaho. She attended Washington Elementary, Franklin Junior High School and graduated from Pocatello High School in 1963. Kathy attended Utah State University and Idaho State University where she received a Bachelor's Degree. She also took graduate courses in Early Childhood Education and helped design the preliminary kindergarten curriculum for the State of Idaho. She worked at the Xerox Corporation from 1982 to 1995 in the customer service department and at the Novato Unified School District from 1997 to 2012 as a teaching home instructor for home-bound students. Kathy is survived by her sister, Joyce Agren of Alamo, California and Joyce's three children. A special thank you to Chris, a wonderful friend who helped Kathy so much over the years with her caring and thoughtfulness. As per Kathy's wish, there will be no funeral service.
