Oscar Lee Trader, 84, a resident of Nassawadox, Va., formerly of Petersburg, Va., passed away Wednesday, April 6, 2016, at Heritage Hall Nursing Center in Nassawadox.
Born January 22, 1932 in Hacksneck, Va., Oscar was a son of the late Edward Lee Trader and Lottie Davis Killmon Trader.
Survivors include a sister, Rose Ann Trader Moore and her husband Clifton, of Keller, Va.; and seven nieces and nephews, Quinn Thornes, Sandra Richardson, Pam Childress, Valerie Elliott, Keith Thornes, Teresa Vincent, Lisa Merritt, Michael Trader and Evelyn Trader. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a sister, Lottie Bullard; and two brothers, Franklin Roosevelt Trader and Marshall Peter Trader.
A memorial service will be held at the Calvary Bible Church in Accomac, Va., on Sunday, April 17, 2016 at 2:00 p.m., with The Reverend Richard Bradford officiating. Interment will be in the Hollies Baptist Church Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Riverside Shore Cancer Center, P.O. Box 17, Nassawadox, Va. 23413.
