She graduated from St. Joseph Catholic Grade School, Rockdale and St. Francis Academy, Joliet.
Mary Ann had a varied work history. She was a stewardess for Northwest Orient Airlines, a corporate transportation coordinator for American Cyanamide in New Jersey, a corporate transportation coordinator for Uniroyal Tire Inc., in Connecticut, a conventions coordinator for S & H Travel in Michigan, an office manager and she retired from Bridgestone/Firestone, Inc. in Illinois.
Following retirement, she earned a degree and worked as a radiology technologist. When she was no longer able to continue in that field, being typical Mary Ann, she could not stay home. She went back to school and earned her nursing degree from North Arkansas State. She spent the last 12 years as an MDS coordinator for various facilities.
Mary Ann is survived by her husband of 32 years, Jim Boucher; her daughter, Alexandra (Reed) Lewis; two grandchildren, Jaren and Nicole. She is also survived by her brother, William (Pat) Frescura, and sisters, Catherine Frescura of Joliet and Antoinette Munchalfen of Florida; four stepchildren Kim Boucher, James Boucher, Roberta (Mitok) and Scott Boucher; four step grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents Joseph and Mary (Urbancic) Frescura and her brother Anthony Frescura.
Arrangements entrusted to the Carlson-Holmquist-Sayles Funeral Home, Joliet.
Inurnment: Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery Elwood, Illinois.
