Mrs. Schutt was born in Jordan Township, the daughter of Thomas and Isabelle Atchison Coats. She lived her entire life in this area. She married Julian Schutt on Aug. 14, 1889 in Sterling. She was a member of the Rock Falls Methodist church for many years.

Mrs. Schutt is survived by two daughter, four sons, 11 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren, three great great grandchildren, three step grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded by her parents, her husband in 1941; two sons, Floyd and Vern and one daughter, Isabelle.

Funeral services for Mrs. Agnes Lillian Schutt, 96, of Sterling, who died late Monday morning in the Linton Nursing Home, were held Wednesday in the Wheelock - Allen Funeral Home. The Rev. Ivan Obenshain, pastor of the Rock Falls Methodist Church, officiated, and burial was in the Odd Fellows Cemetery.
