OUR ZONA BELL
Oh God, up in your heaven,
our hearts were broken today.
In memory, we will cry and weep,
for our darling that passed away.
Through all the years we had her here,
we all loved her so.
Dear Father up in Heaven,
why did she have to go?
A bride of just ten short years,
loved by her husband and little son.
Their hearts are so broken for her,
why! did she have to go?
She was a beautiful, lovely girl,
her blue eyes dancing with mischief and fun,
And her heart full of love,
for each and every one.
I had a feeling, Father some how,
she was meant for us to keep
and love for a little while.
Then you would call her back,
A beautiful flower,
to bloom in your garden above.
Thank you, Father for letting us
keep her to love,
For twenty seven wonderful years.
