Margaret F. Lueck, 82 of La Crosse died on Tuesday, July 19, 2016 at the Hillview Healthcare Center.

She was born December 12, 1933 in Bush Valley, Minn. to Frank and Lorena (Pottratz) Meier.

On April 15, 1952 she married Aloysius Lueck at St. Joseph Ridge Catholic Church, St. Joseph’s Ridge, Wis.

Margaret and Al farmed for many years on St. Joseph’s Ridge while raising nine little brats while not losing their minds.

She worked as a custodian for the Coulee Bank and St. Thomas More Catholic Church for many years. She also worked at Larson’s IGA and for Friday night fish fries at the KC Hall.

Margaret was involved with the Santa Claus Club and held positions with the Mormon Coulee Lion’s Club and the Wisconsin Lion’s District D2.

She enjoyed singing in the church choir and babysitting multiple children over the years.

In addition to husband Al of 64 years, she is survived by nine children; Debra Lyskowski of Onalaska, Robert (Julie) Lueck, Allen Lueck, David (Arlene) Lueck, Vicky (Darral) Faas, Brian Lueck, Cheryl (Joel) Anderson, Kevin (Brenda) Lueck and Becky (Terry) Valentine all of La Crosse; 20 grandchildren, Sharon Siam, Jeremy (Katurah) Lueck, Amber (Jackson) Broer, Kiaya Lueck, Jacob (Caity) Lueck, Andrea (Ross)Auna, Stephanie Lueck, Teresa (Mike Sieben) Lueck, Ashley (Joey) Loefflad, Amanda Butterfield, Joshua (Jessie) Anderson, Shannon Anderson, Aaron (Jessica) Lueck, Aimee Lueck, Jasmine (Eric) Valentine, Kelly (Robert) Meyer, Alexander, Ajay and Alia Valentine and Kirk (Chelsea Bertelson) Valentine; 17 great-grandchildren, Dalton Siam, Danielle Siam, Destin Lueck, Nevaeh Lueck, Ethan Nelson, Amira Broer, Ava Broer, Willow Stevens, Gunner Lueck, Lily Berends, Stetson Loefflad, Hunter Lueck, Lukas Valentine, Claire Valentine, Hailey Meyer, Tyson Meyer and Oliver Valentine; three sisters-in-law, Catherine Meier of Riverside, Calif., Garnet (Robert) Bina of St. Paul, Minn., and Kathleen Schmidt of Delavan, Wis. along with many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a son-in-law, William Lyskowski; a brother, Leonard Meier; two sisters, Dorothy (Ralph) Cangson and Elaine Salisbury and a brother-in-law, Gerald Lueck.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM Saturday, July 23rd at Mary, Mother of the Church Parish, 2006 Weston Street, La Crosse with Rev. Brian D. Konopa officiating. Visitation will be held at the church on Friday from 4-7 PM and again on Saturday from 9:30 AM until the time of services.

Memorials are suggested to the Mormon Coulee Lion’s Club for the Wisconsin Lion’s Camp C/O Debra Lyskowski, 1025 Oak Ave. S. #E1, Onalaska, WI 54650.
