Services for Annie Maude "Blevins" Steed, 93, of Whitehouse are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 20, 2016 at The First Baptist Church Whitehouse. Burial in Rosewood Cemetery in Gilmer under the direction of Lloyd James Funeral Home, Tyler.

She passed away on Sunday, July 17, 2016 in Whitehouse.

Annie was born on February 6, 1923 in Nubbin Hill, Arkansas to the late Franklin Stuart and Maude Alice Renfro Blevins.

Annie married the love of her life, Gurvis Steed on December 7, 1946. She was a devoted wife, loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a wonderful Christian example to all.

Annie was a childhood member of Missionary Grove Baptist Church, Nubbin Hill Arkansas, a longtime member of Rosewood Baptist Church and longtime member of First Baptist Church in Whitehouse and the Hope Sunday School class.

Annie is survived by 6 children, 11 grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Gurvis E. Steed and 7 brothers and sisters: Eva Crider; Earnest Blevins; Clyde Blevins; Connie Blevins; Irene Cornelius; Dexter Blevins and Annie's infant twin brother.
