Wanda Jenkins Lambert, 77 of Russellville, passed away Friday, July 15, 2016. She was a faithful member of Whitesburg Baptist Church serving as the church treasurer, a helper in the AWANA Club; member of the kitchen committee and a volunteer in Vacation Bible School. Wanda spent many years caring for the sick and elderly in and outside of her immediate family. Wanda also assisted her husband, Joe W. Lambert in the operation of their family business, Winter Seal Products.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Joe W. Lambert; parents, W. Brown and Reba Morrow Jenkins; brothers, Dee and Gene Jenkins.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Susan and Roger Kinsler; son and daughter-in-law, Jerry and Robin Lambert; grandchildren, Robbie Long, Chris Kinsler, Hollie Lambert and Alex Lambert; great-granddaughter, Carly Kinsler and many special relatives and friends.
The family would like to express their gratitude to the New wing staff of Life Care of Morristown and Amedisys for their compassion and care of Wanda during her brief illness.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 7:00 Monday, July 18, 2016 in the East Chapel of Allen Funeral Home prior to the service at 7:00 with Reverends Leroy Davis, Charlie Brewer and Allen Payne officiating. Graveside services will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 19, 2016 in Hamblen Memory Gardens.
