Juanita Moore, age 81, passed away on December 12, 2005 surrounded by her family. The daughter of the late Glen and Bertie Dobson, Juanita was born on September 3, 1924 in Ennis, Texas. She grew up in Coolidge, Arizona, where she met her late husband J. D. Moore. After the passing of her husband in 1963 she raised 4 children while achieving an Associate Degree in business, then continued on to fulfill a career as a Registered Nurse. She was an ardent Diamondbacks and Suns fan and also an excellent bowler. She truly enjoyed family gatherings where she could compete in horseshoes and the washer game. In more recent years she enjoyed traveling abroad. Juanita is survived by her 3 children, J. Susan (Roland) Humphrey, James (Karen) Moore and Mark (Diane) Moore; 5 grandchildren Kristi Musgrave, Crystal (Rob) Hall, Jamie Moore, Marissa Moore, Nick Moore and 1 step-grandson, Matt Proctor. 4 great-grandchildren R.J., Riley, Bailey and Abagail; 4 sisters Betty, Mary Lou, Bonnie and Barbara. She was preceded in death by a daughter and son-in-law, Melinda (Larry) French. A graveside service will be held Friday, December 16, 2005 at 11:00 AM at Resthaven Park Cemetery, 6290 W. Northern Ave. with interment to follow.
