Thelma Florence Whitworth Kroencke, 82, south Kansas City, died Dec. 2, 1991, at Research Medical Center.
She was born in La Monte, Mo., and lived in Higginsville, Mo., most of her life. She moved to Kansas City in 1990. Mrs. Kroencke worked for the Higginsville State School and Hospital before she retired.
Earlier she worked for the New Process Laundry in Higginsville. She was a member of the Central Christian Church, Higginsville.
Survivors include a son, Amos E. Kroencke, Kansas City; three sisters, Gertrude Warden, Lexington, Mo., Hazel Murrell, Higginsville, and Bernett Cooper, Raytown; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at the Wiegers Chapel, Higginsville; burial in the Higginsville City Cemetery. Friends may call from 3 to 6 p.m. today at the chapel.
