Lorraine "Lori" Roebling
Peacefully in San Bruno, Ca on Sept. 14, 2013 at age 82. Preceded in death by her devoted husband Harry J. Roebling, Mother Cecelia Koenig, Father Joseph Waytashek, Step Father Florian Koenig and Sister Rosemary. Devoted Mother of Julie Roebling Romero (Augustine) and Catherine Roebling. Beloved Grandmother of Michael Roebling, Augustin Romero Jr. and Michael Romero. Survived by Brothers Joseph and Arnold and Sisters Jan, Dorothy, Cece and Angie. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Born August 13, 1931 in Little Falls, Mn. Lori moved to SF in 1951 and worked as a executive secretary over her career for many prestigious firms, but truly loved her position at the Sr. Francis Drake Hotel in S.F. In 1965 she married her husband of 45 years Harry. In 1968 they moved to Daly City where they raised their two daughters, helped raise their grandson whom they adored and lived for the rest of their lives. Lori was a devout Catholic and a member of the Our Lady of Mercy Parish for over 45 years. Lori lived her life on her terms and with strength, hope and kindness. Smart beyond words and always thinking of others first she devoted her life to her family and to follow her motto "Through this toilsome world alas, once and only once I pass. If a good deed I may do, to some poor suffering fellow man; let me do this while I can. It is plain to see, I shall not pass this way again. "

Visitation for family and friends will begin at 4 p.m. on Wednesday, September 18th with the Rosary beginning at 7 p.m. all at Duggan's Serra Mortuary, 500 Westlake Ave., Daly City. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Thursday, September 19th at Our Lady of Mercy Church, 1 Elmwood Drive, Daly City, a reception to follow. Burial Services will be held privately at the family's request.

"Mom, Your memory is our keepsake, with which we'll never part. God has you in his keeping; we have you in our hearts" We will Love you Mom, Forever and a Day!
