Walter A. Anthony, 77, of Macungie, a Lower Macungie Township supervisor 1962-68, died Tuesday in Westminster Village, Allentown. He was the husband of the late Mildred C. (Baumgartner) Anthony.
He was a partner in the Kuhns and Anthony Paving Co., Wescosville, from 1947 until retiring in 1973. He previously was employed by PennDOT.
Born in Lehigh County, he was a son of the late David and Elizabeth (Smith) Anthony.
He was a former director of the Western Lehigh Lions Club, Fogelsville.
Anthony was a member of Grace Lutheran Church, Macungie.
He was a Navy veteran of World War II.
