Carroll Friswold, formerly of Cooperstown, died August 30 in California. He was about 70 years old, and had been ill for some time. He had lived in Altadena, California about 30 years.
The son of the late Seval and Christine Friswold, he grew up in this community and was a 1916 graduate of the high school here.
He is survived by his wife, the former Hester Hagen; one son, Carroll L. of Tujunga, California; two grandchildren and one sister, Mrs. J. E. (Swanhild) Grinnell.
