Lola Mae Snapp Martin, 82, widow of the late Kenneth Ray Martin, passed away Tuesday, July 12, 2016. She was born on December 4, 1933 in Winchester, KY to the late Lucious D. and Sarah E. Blount Snapp. She was a homemaker and a member of the Central Baptist Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Sharon Martin of Winchester and Sarah (Eugene Jr.) Miller of Shelbyville; a very special granddaughter, Regina Miller (Jamie) Eldridge, Winchester; soon to be great grandson, Jaxon Ray Eldridge; three sisters-in-law, Juanita Snapp, Estelle Johnson and Elnora Atkinson; brother-in-law, Kelly Toler; a number of nieces, nephews, and cousins. In addition to her husband and parents, she is preceded in death by five sisters and three brothers.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 AM, Saturday, July 16, 2016 at Scobee Funeral Home by Dr. Travis Drake. Burial will follow in the Winchester Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Gregg Snapp, Billy Peters, Joe Peters, David King, Jackie Strange and Charles Kevin Spurgeon. Honorary pallbearers will be Bill Thiry, Chris Frye, Joe Maloney, James Woosley, Mike Anderson, Buck Jones, Greg McGuire and Kenny Smith.
