Born in Warsaw, Ill., she was the daughter of Alfred and Myrtle Miller Taylor. On July 7, 1944, she married Loyd Thomas Beagles in Inglewood, Calif. He died Feb. 24, 2003.
Mrs. Beagles worked at Sheller Globe in Keokuk for 32 years, where she was a member of the union. She retired in 1987. She was a member of Golden's Point Christian Church, Hamilton, and had attended Bowen Christian Church. She enjoyed playing dominos and tripoli. She was an avid Cub fan and enjoyed watching and collecting hummingbirds.
Survivors include one daughter, Judy Bolton of Bowen, Ill.; five grandchildren; and 10 great–grandchildren.
Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, one son, three brothers and one sister.
The funeral was held at Lamporte Funeral Home in Hamilton with, the Rev. Tom Mehaffy officiating.
