Mrs. Amidei was born to parents, William W. and Martha E. Freeman Dillingham. She received her Masters degree in education from TCU and was retired from the Arlington I.S.D. where she was responsible for the implementation of their Special Education Program. She had been a Waco resident for twenty years and had resided at the Stillwell Retirement Center in Waco for about ten years. Her husband, Aeneas Maurice Amidei, seven brothers and three sisters preceded her in death. Survivors include two children, Sylvia Naslund and husband Arvid of Mexia; Judge Maurice Amidei and wife Sara Bryan Amidei of Houston; five grandchildren, Patricia Newcomb, Charles Blackwell, April Dancer, Tony Amidei, Angela Dunn and ten great-great-grandchildren.
