Wesley Beecher, 84, of Amerillo, Texas, formerly of Bellevue, Iowa, died Friday, 8 September 2006 at the Veterans Hospital in Amarillo.

A memoril service will be held at 10:20 a.m. Friday, 22 September 2006 at the First Presbyterian Church in Bellevue, Iowa. The Rev. Dr. Marsha M. Wilfong will officiate.

Son of: Merrill E. & Alvina Chizek Beecher. He married Phyllis Ploen Beecher. She preceded him in death 12 February 2005.

Wesley was an Iowa Conservation Officer fo Jackson County, Iowa from 1961 - 1983 and retiered after 27 years of service. He was proud to have served his country in the U.S. Navy and World War II.

Survivers include one daughter, Sharon Beecher of Hoschton, Georgia and one son, Richard & Terry Beecher of Amerilo, Texas; four grand children and one great grandson; ine brother, Richard & Mary Beecher, of Traer, Iowa.

He was preceded in death by his wife Phyllis, his parents, a daughter, Rebecca and one brother.
