Mrs. LAVETTA CATHERINE WASTLER, 70, wife of Harry R. Wastler, Jefferson, died at Valley View Nursing Home, Middletown, Saturday afternoon. She was a daughter of the late Oliver A. and Amanda Arnold Huffer.
She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Burkittsville, the Ladie's Aid, the ULCW, and the Women's Bible Class.
Besides her husband, she is survived by three sisters: Mrs. Anna Mary Culler, Jefferson; Miss Clara Huffer, Jefferson; Mrs. Elva Becher, Broad Run; two brothers, Clarence and Darwin Huffer, both of Broad Run.
Services were held at the Gladhill Funeral Home, Middletown; interment in Middletown Lutheran Cemetery.
