Began employment with International Harvester Co., at Canton and remained there until entering the Army July 1 1944, at Fort Sheridan, Illinois. Served with Co. C 62nd Armd. Inf. Bn. on the European Theater and held numerous decorations, including Bronze Star and Purple Heart. Was discharged Nov 10 1945 at Camp Grant, Illinois.
