She was born on April 21, 1934, in Rimersburg, daughter of the late Ralph Lewis and Mildred Milanovich Montana.
Annie was married July 10, 1957, to Bob Gesin, and he survives.
She ran her own beauty shop for a number of years and then worked for the Tavern in Clarion for 19 years, from which she retired.
Annie was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Clarion.
She enjoyed traveling, reading, and playing cards. She loved country music, especially Conway Twitty, and also loved going to his shows. Annie enjoyed her grandchildren and also spending time with her family and friends, and her dog, Gracie Mae.
Annie is survived by her husband; two daughters: Lisa Gesin and her friend, Jim Bowman, of Clarion and Laura Jean Gesin of Polk; and a son, Larry Gesin and his wife, Linda, of Miola.
She is also survived by her grandchildren: Justin Fleeger and his wife, Jennifer, of Cranberry, Levi Best of Clarion, Lacey Gesin and her friend, Dustin Doksa, of Clarion, and Larissa Gesin and her friend, T.J. Carnahan, of Miola; and her great-grandchildren: Ella Sue, Emelia Mae, and Ezra Scott Fleeger, all of Cranberry, Kayden James and Kowen Michael Carnahan of Miola, and Jackson Wyatt Doksa of Clarion.
Also surviving are two brothers: Ralph L.S. Montana of Marble and George Montana and his wife, Libby, of Clarion; two sisters: Stella Miller and her husband, Russ, of Clarion and Angie Matesevac and her husband, Steve, of Ohio; and two brothers-in-law: Edward McSparrin and James Merwin, both of New Bethlehem.
She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, and a very special friend, Nancy Ganoe of Shippenville, along with many other friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Joseph Montana; two sisters: Lucy McSparrin and Patricia Merwin, and two infant granddaughters.
Her family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Robert V. Burns Funeral Home in Clarion.
Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Clarion with Rev. Monty Sayers, pastor, as presider.
Interment will follow in the Immaculate Conception Church Cemetery.
