Services for Frank S. Rast Sr., a retired farmer who died at his home at 888 Breedlove at 8 last night, will be held at 2 tomorrow afternoon at West Union Presbyterian Church at the West Union community. The Rev. William N. Tidwell will officiate. Burial will be in West Union Cemetery. He was 72. Born at the Herring Hill community in Shelby county, Mr. Rast farmed there until a few years ago when he moved to Memphis. He was a member of the Quito Methodist Church. He leaves his wife, Mrs. Mollie Clark Rast; three sons, Odell Rast of Brunswick, Fennie Rast of Lucy, and Frank S. Rast Jr. of Frayser; three daughters, Mrs. A.B. Steele and Mrs. J.E. Gilbert of Memphis, and Mrs. M.H. Holley of Brunswick; a brother, Robert D. Rast of Memphis, and two sisters, Mrs. T.W. Densford of Memphis and Mrs. T.O. Dearen of Rosemark. Maley Funeral Home of Covington, Tenn., is in charge.
