Mr. Cassatt had resided alone. His wife, the late Bertha Ellen Jacoby Cassatt died August 30, 1959.
A native of Hamilton Twp., he was a son of the late Levi and Lizzie Cassatt and had resided in the Fairfield area for the last 50 years. He was a retired employee of the Gettysburg Shoe Co.
Surviving is a daughter, Mrs. Grace Showers, Winchester, Va., and two grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday morning at 1030 from the Wilson Funeral Home, Fairfield, with the Rev. Harold L Myers, retired pastor of the Foursquare Gospel Church here, officiating. Interment will be in the Fairfield Union Cemetery.
