BOTKIN - B. L. Botkin, 79, died of cancer Saturday at 6:30 a.m. at his home in Donnelsville. The funeral will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at New Carlisle. Burial will be made in New Carlisle cemetery.

CLARK COUNTY FARMER DIES OF CANCER
B. I. Botkin died of cancer at his home in Donnelsville Saturday morning after an illness of over a year's duration. He was 79 years of age. Mr. Botkin was born In Clark county and has been a Clark county farmer throughout his entire life. He is survived by five sons -- Fay in Idaho, Romance and James in Colorado, Robert in Minnesota, and Curtis of Donnelsville. The funeral services will be held at New Carlisle and burial will be made in New Carlisle cemetery.
(NOTE: He was also survived by his 2nd wife Emily Maxson Babcock Botkin. Also, he did live in Garwin, Tama County, Ohio in 1870 when his 1st wife died.)
