SCANDIA — Richard M. Gile, 85, of Scandia, died Monday, May 9, 2016. He was born Dec. 27, 1930, to Richard C. and Mary (Currie) Gile.

Survivors include his wife, Kathryn; daughters, Sue (Scott) Whitmer, of Voorhees, N.J., Denise (Gary) Johnson, of Lawrence, and Michelle (Kevin) Larson, of Scandia; brother, Clyde (Suzette) Gile, of Scandia; eight grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and infant sons, Kevin and Dana.

Visitation: 1-8 p.m. Sunday, May 15, at Tibbetts-Fischer Funeral Home, Belleville, with family present from 7-8.

Funeral: 2 p.m. Monday, May 16, at Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church, Norway. Burial will be in Pleasant Ridge Cemetery.

Memorials to the VFW, American Legion and other service organizations.FAMILY WILL BE GREETING FAMILY & FRIENDS SUNDAY FROM 7pm TO 8pm AT THE FUNERAL HOME.
