HANOVER Mildred G. Little, 84, formerly of Littlestown, entered into God's eternal care Friday, August 31, 2007, at her home. She was the wife of Merle C. Little, with whom she was married for 66 years. Born July 12, 1923, in Adams County, she was the daughter of the late Gregory and Cordelia (Gulden) Bolin. Mildred was retired from Kessler Shoe Co., in Littlestown. She was a member of Annunciation Catholic Church in McSherrystown and the Littlestown VFW Ladies Auxiliary. Surviving in addition to her husband, are two sons and their spouses, Gary L. Little and wife, Carol of Clearwater, Fla., and Merle W. Little and wife, Shirley of Hanover; four grandchildren, Tim Little and wife, Brenda, Tammy Gobrecht, Steven Bucher and wife, Pam and Ashley Little; and three greatgrandchildren, Mitchell Gobrecht, Hannah Bucher and Abigail Bucher. She was preceded in death by seven siblings;, Kathryn Ruth, Estella Potorff, Donald, Francis, Harold, Paul and Thelma Bolin. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10 a.m. Tuesday at Annunciation Church in McSherrystown, with the Rev. Lawrence W. Sherdel officiating. Burial will be in Annunciation Cemetery, McSherrystown. Friends and relatives will be received Monday 6 to 8 p.m. at Murphy Funeral Home, 501 Ridge Ave., McSherrystown, with a prayer service being held at 8 p.m. Memorial contributions in honor of Mildred may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 332 N. Lauderdale, Memphis, TN. 38105.
