Born Oct.23,1905 in Lone Mountain,Tenn.he was the son of John and Dora (Coatney)Jennings.Sam came to Monroe in 1925 from Tenn.He married Catherine Parks on June 27,1947 in Monroe.He worked for River Raisin Paper Co. and Consolidated Paper Co.for 45 years retiring in 1970.Sam also ran the Busy Bee Cafe on Winchester St. for many years.
