Fallon Joseph Coburger, 60, passed away July 4, 2016, surrounded by his loving family.

Mr. Coburger attended St. Thomas More School and graduated from Escambia High Schools in 1974. He was employed by St. Regis Paper Co. as a wood chipper scale operator. He also served on the Emergency Response Team as a High Angle Rope Rescue Specialist and received an EMT Certification. After 28 years, he retired from what is now, International Paper.

Fallon served as a Boy Scout Troop Leader, treasuring those years of memories which culminated with his son, Joshua, earning the Eagle Scout Award.

Mr. Coburger is preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Colleen Coburger and a sister, Maureen Wingard.

He is survived by his son, Joshua (fiancé Amy) and daughter, Jessica (and her mother, Liz); two grandchildren, Sydney and Aaron; his siblings: Linda Wilson, David Coburger, Michael (Cecilia) Coburger, Rosemary (George) Minton, Elizabeth Gutumuth, Carol (JR) Heusohn; numerous nieces and nephews, 3 aunts, and many cousins.

Visitation will be at Trahan Family Funeral Home, 419 Yoakum Court, Pensacola, on Friday, July 8, 2016 from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. with Rosary at 6:30 p.m. Celebration of Life Mass will be held the following day, Saturday, July 9th, at 11 a.m. at St. Thomas More Church on Barrancas Ave., with Rev. Nicholas Schumm officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
