Mary Evelyn Walker, 90, of Dayton, TX, was called home on April 1, 2016. Mary was born on May 29, 1925 in Flint, TX to Walter O. and Annie D. Jones.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Royce H. Walker; son, Jimmy Walker; and great grandson, James Michael Walker.
She is survived by her daughter, Judy Shann and husband Joe of Dayton, TX., Wayne Walker of Big Spring, TX.; sisters, Bobby Baker of Timson, TX, Shirley Hartzog of Baytown, TX; grandchildren, James and Lisa Walker, Leslie and Michael Gressett, Mandy Malone, Ashley and Jeremy Butler, and Chris Miller; sixteen great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson, Liam James Walker; plus many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Serving the family as pallbearers will be Chris Miller, James Walker, Michael Gressett, Zachary Urbani, Jeremy Butler, and Ray Hennigan.
