Elizabeth Bruce Thomas, 87, of Richmond, died Monday, Sept. 4, 2000. Mrs. Thomas, the widow of Hartrell H. Thomas, was the daughter of Lucian F. Bruce and Cora Sale Bruce.
She is survived by three sisters, Thelma B. Davis of Bowling Green, Daisy B. Best of Fredericksburg and Mary B. Lyne of Richmond; five sons and their wives, James and Edith Thomas of Chesterfield, Henry and Linda Thomas of Powatan, Harold and Dorothy Thomas and Cary and Karen Thomas of Chesterfield, and Raymond B. Thomas of Richmond; 15 grandchildren, and ten great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held Sept. 8, 2000. Burial was in Riverview Cemetery.
