Louis F. Awerdick Funeral Monday
LOUIS F. AWERDICK, of 202 W. Brighton av., an interior decorator for many years, died Friday night in Crouse-Irving Hospital.
Until his illness several weeks ago, Mr. Awerdick also was manager of the Reliable Fish Co. He was formerly employed as stationary engineer by the L. C. Smith & Corona Typewriter Inc., and Syracuse Transit Corp.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Lida Awerdick; two sons, Carl and Arthur Awerdick; three sisters, Mrs. Anna M. Johannes, Mrs. Manford Colby and Mrs. Gustave Eckerlin; a brother, Adolph Awerdick, and four grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted in the Carl J. Ballweg Funeral Home, 4612 S. Salina st., at 9 A.M. Monday and at 9:30 A.M. in St. Joseph’s German Church where a solemn high mass of requiem will be celebrated. Burial will be in Assumption Cemetery.
