Ada Cathrine Lail Hefner, age 98, of Conover passed away Wednesday, June 29, 2016 at Catawba Valley Living at Rock Barn. Born January 31, 1918 in Catawba County, she was the daughter of the late Jefferson P. Lail and Sarah Eckard Lail. Ada was a member of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Conover. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husbands, Denard A. Robinson and Alvin L. Hefner; son, Tommy L. Hefner; granddaughter, Pamela W. Isenhour; three brothers; and five sisters.
The funeral service will be held on Friday, July 1, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Burke Mortuary Chapel in Newton with Pastor Kevin Graudin officiating.
Burial will follow in St. Peter’s Lutheran Church Cemetery in Conover.
