Mom has finally made it to the mountains to be with her husband, Max, who preceded her in death on Dec. 4, 1984.

Sarah Walters, age 94, passed away peacefully on January 29, 1998. Born December 27, 1903 in Burlington, Wyoming to Burton and Florence Wiggett Prettyman. Married Loren L. Craig in 1922, divorced in 1942. Married Max G. Walters on August 6, 1945. Marriage solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple on June 18, 1947.Survived by two sons, Norman L. Craig (Sandy) and Gene L. Craig, both of Salt Lake City, Utah; one sister, Nellie Smith of Price, UT; her grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

A special thanks to the staff and all employees at Midtown Manor Rest Home for the love and compassionate care given to Mom. Also to two caring and thoughtful nieces, Betty and Donna for their closeness and help for the last several years.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, February 3, 1998 at 11 a.m. at the Deseret Memorial Mortuary, 36 East 700 South. Friends may call Monday, February 2, 1998 from 6 to 8 p.m. and one hour prior to services. Interment will be at Lake Hills Memorial Park. Funeral directors, Deseret Memorial Mortuary.
