My Auntie Lily was one of my late Mother's sisters, and my God Mother.

The ninth & youngest child (fourth daughter) of
William & Florence Musk.

She was born on 17th December 1923, on her parents farm, in Dickleburgh, Norfolk.

She served in the WRAF during WW2, with two of her sisters.
She married her sweetheart Geoffrey Ruddock on 2nd June 1945, at Dickleburgh Church.

They went on to have two children. A daughter Jean & a son Paul.

Sadly she developed Alkzimers, just like my own dear Mum. Her final months were spent in a loving nursing home.

Dear wife of Geoffrey.
Much loved Mum of Jean & Paul.
Mother in law to Bernie & Brenda.
Loving Nan to Lindsey, Debbie & Jon.
Special Great Nanny to Megan, Alfie, Nathan, Jamie & Elliot.

She died peacefully in her sleep, at The nursing home, aged 92 years.

Reunited with her parents & siblings.

She is to be buried in the cemetery at Dickleburgh Church, at 2pm, on
Friday 22nd July 2016.

R.I.P dear Auntie.

Alzheimer's Prayer

Do not ask me to remember.
Don't try to make me understand.
Let me rest and know you're with me.
Kiss my cheek and hold my hand.

I'm confused beyond your concept.
I am sad and sick and lost.
All I know is that I need you
To be with me at all cost.

Do not lose your patience with me.
Do not scold or curse or cry.
I can't help the way I'm acting,
Can't be different though I try.

Just remember that I need you,
That the best of me is gone.
Please don't fail to stand beside me,
Love me til my life is done.
