Alfred LeRoy Broderson, 58, of Yakima died Friday at his home.
Mr. Broderson was born in Yakima, raised in Moxee and worked for Snokist Cannery for 38 years, retiring as supervisor this year due to poor health. He loved to play pool and served as the Washington State Pool Captain for 18 years. Survivors include his mother, Marjorie Broderson of Kent; one son, Allen Broderson of Willow, Alaska; two daughters, Tawnye Beckstead of Kent and Tammi "Renae" Butler of Willow, Alaska; two brothers, Larry and Jerry Broderson, both of Yakima; five sisters, Virginia Young, Linda Woods and Pam Boster, all of Yakima, Bonnie Young of Renton, Wash., and Sharon Geddie of Zillah; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Final visitation will be at 2-6 p.m. Tuesday and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesday at Shaw and Sons Funeral Chapel. Graveside services will be held at Terrace Heights Memorial Park at 10 a.m. Thursday.
