Netta Lou Hubbard Jarrett, 82, of Comanche, Texas, went to be with her Lord and Savior July 1, 2016 At Comanche County Medical Center.
Netta was born on July 24, 1933, to Charlie and Maggie Hubbard of William, Texas. She was united in marriage to Benny Rae Jarrett on May 26, 1962 at First Baptist Church in Rising Star, Texas. Netta was a graduate of The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor. She was a business teacher for 33 years at Borden ISD in Gail, Texas. Netta was a member of a teacher’s organization Delta Kappa Gamma. She was a member of the Salt Creek Baptist Church in Early, Texas.
She is survived by her husband, Benny Ray Jarrett of Comanche; one brother-in-law, Jimmy McCowen and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Charlie and Maggie (Smoot) Hubbard; eight brothers: Norman, Arcie, Mark, Ardis, Fred, Glen, Jack and Ran Hubbard; 2two sisters: Nelda Hubbard Anderson and Ida Mae Hubbard McCowen. Funeral: 10 a.m. Tuesday, Comanche Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation: 5 to 7 p.m. Monday. Burial: Blake Cemetery in Brown County, Texas. Survivors: Husband, Benny R. Jarrett; brother-in-law, Jimmy McCowen; nieces; nephews.
