ALFRED MILNE
Alfred Steven Milne, 50, of Newton Road, B.C., and a native of Calgary, died Thursday at his home after a long illness. Funeral services will be held in Jacques chapel Tuesday at 2:45 p.m. Burial will be in Queen's Park cemetery. Mr. Milne was born in Calgary and had lived here for about 49 years prior to retiring to British Columbia 14 months ago. He had been employed with the W. H. Cushing Lumber Mill in Calgary for 16 years and then had worked for the Manning Egleston Lumber Co., also for 16 years. Surviving are his wife, Edith, of Newton Road; two daughters, Mrs. Andrew Little and Mrs. Ted Carter of Calgary; four grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Nellie Rees of Calgary; three brothers, George and Frank of Calgary and Edward of Port Orchard, Wash.
