Born March 22, 1931 in Wooders, TX, to Barney F Sr and Mary Lou Ray Smith, Barney was a lifelong resident of Silsbee. He worked as a truck driver before retiring and proudly served his country in the US Air Force.
Mr. Smith is preceded in death by his parents; wife Betty Isbell Smith; and sisters Mary Carlisle and Willie Mae Atkinson.
Survivors include his son William Charles Smith of Kountze; daughters Vickie Currie and husband Floyd of Huntsville AR, Stacey Kruzan of Lumberton and Delia Riley and husband Paul of Silsbee; brother Joseph Allen Smith of Sour Lake; sisters Annie able of Timpson, Cleora Wilkerson and husband Larry of Houston and Betty Jane Burch of Timpson; sister-in-law Jennett Gore of Silsbee; seventeen grandchildren, twenty six great grandchildren and two great, great grandchildren.
Mr. Smith will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
