Dexter Glenn Warner, Sr., age 58 of LaVergne, TN, passed away Friday July 1, 2016. Born in Nashville, TN, he was the son of the late Ronald Coleman and Sarah Jean Boyd Warner.

Mr. Warner is survived by two sons, Richard Glenn Warner and his wife Melinda, and Dexter Glenn Warner, Jr. all of Murfreesboro, TN; two daughters, Amber Sawyer and her husband Tim of Eagleville, TN, and Danielle Warner of Murfreesboro, TN; two brothers, Mike and Lindsay Warner both of Smyrna, TN; two sisters, Barbara Kelley and Gloria Wilson both of Smyrna, TN; nine grandchildren, and 1 great-grandchild.

Visitation will be Sunday July 3, 2016, from 12:00 noon until 4:00 PM at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna, with the funeral service to follow at 4:00 PM. Pastor Doug Baggett will officiate. Burial will follow in Mapleview Cemetery with family and friends serving as pallbearers.

Mr. Warner was a self-employed carpenter and a Christian.
