Joseph Robert Keup, 76, of Aurora passed away Tuesday, September 2, 2008 at Rush Copley Medical Center. He was born on April 28, 1932 in Aurora, the son of Frank and Mary (Bose) Keup.

Joseph was a life long Aurora resident. He retired from Sealmaster Bearing Company in 1993 after almost 38 years of employment. Joseph was a member of the Lucky 50 Club.

Survivors include, one brother, Richard Keup; one sister, Clara Denton; many nieces and nephews; and Snickers, Skylar, Payton and Cosmo.

He was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers, Matt, Theodore, John and Ralph; two sisters, Sister Michaelita Keup and Elizabeth Barkei; and his beloved pet, Freddy the Parakeet.

Visitation will be Saturday, September 6, 2008 from 10:00 until 11:00 A.M. at THE DALEIDEN MORTUARY, 220 N. Lake Street, Aurora, IL. 60506. Interment will follow at Lincoln Memorial Park.
